Review
CloneDVD is a DVD creating and burning application for Windows. It is one of the most used applications world-wide for the creation of DVD backups of great quality of protected or unprotected DVDs. However, if the DVD you are trying to back up is copy-protected, you will need AnyDVD, another great application from SlySoft. CloneDVD boasts the ability to create quality copies of copy protected DVDs, and it actually delivers on that note. The program couldn't possibly be any easier to use. The user only has to insert the original DVD and then fire up the wizard. The assistant will guide the user through the many configuration options that are necessary to back up a DVD (Region code, NTCS or PAL, size, etc). There is a bar at the bottom of the application that tells the user about the quality and size of the final product all throughout the duration of the wizard. Once all the settings have been introduced, the user can sit back and, according to the speed of his DVD burner, the DVD will be ready to insert in the DVD player in about 25 minutes. I would say this applications takes the prize away from its competitors simply because it is as powerful as those are, but it is a dream to use. |
